The Finance department provides Accounting, Financial Management, Planning, Analysis, and Reporting for Industrial Scientific in the EMEA region, across 5 legal entities (Industrial Scientific France, Industrial Scientific Germany, Industrial Scientific UK, Industrial Scientific Dubai and Fortive South Africa), and consolidates the figures of the EMEA entities for the preparation of group figures made in the USA.

As an FPA Analyst, you will be in charge of the EMEA Regional Finance Planning and Analysis and report to the EMEA Finance Director. Your primary responsibility is to connect senior management’s long-term “strategic plan” to reality: support management planning and decision making by identifying, maintaining, and evaluating information; recommending actions.

You will leverage your expertise, analytical strengths, and leadership powers to drive our vision for rapid growth and cement our position as a top-tier innovation partner. You will work closely with business partners and executives to provide fact-based analysis and a rigorous approach to strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate the Monthly consolidation of the 5 Entities

  • Prepare the Monthly Consolidated P&L of the region

  • Prepare the Monthly Variance analysis of Financials

  • Complete the Daily, Weekly and Monthly KPI’s and ensure innovation and sustainment

  • Responsible for ad-hoc analysis and information requests from the business unit leaders and leadership team

  • Direct involvement in the preparation of budgets, projections, and strategic plans for business units

  • Support the EMEA Finance Director in the preparation and presentation of the Operation Monthly review

  • Support the Sales Director and the Finance Director in the Monthly Forecast submission for Bookings, Sales and Opex

  • Manage the Annual Budget Process

  • Contact point for the ad hoc requests of the different departments

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Accounting or equivalent
  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar position

  • Advanced knowledge in P&L Data Analytics, Trend & Variance Analysis

  • Proficient in Financial Reporting, Planning, KPI’s, and Business communication

  • Strong organizational skills with a proven ability to handle multiple priorities and manage projects to a timely conclusion

  • Process-oriented and exceptional attention to details

  • Advanced Excel knowledge ( formulas, macros, etc)

  • Good knowledge of Oracle and Power BI, Good Knowledge of Oracle and Power BI, smart view (HFM)/ GL Wand is preferred

  • Full working proficiency in English. French will be considered as an asset
