As Business Analyst you will be based at the Royal IHC head office in Kinderdijk and you will be responsible for part of our full-scale strategy transformation programme, known as IHC². You will help initiative owners (IOs) within the company to conceive, plan and execute their ideas, and as such make a valuable contribution to the health and growth of IHC. As Business Analyst at Royal IHC, every day will be different, but a general overview of your responsibilities can be summarised as follows:
onboarding new IOs and familiarising them with their role, the processes involved and the programme management tool WAVE actively solving problems an IO may have, escalating these problems to the TO and meeting the head of the TO where necessarychallenging IOs on implementation plans and business casessafeguarding WAVE to ensure that it remains the single most reliable source of information by confirming that IOs have updated actuals and milestonesproviding the head of TO with input for the weekly team update or any other report/presentation that may ariseorganising meetings, preparing agendas, reminding IOs and checking WAVEsetting up-calls, presenting WAVE and/or slides where applicable and preserving the current high standards of meetingstaking charge of the process by making notes on new actions and following-up individually where necessary.

To be eligible for the role of Business Analyst, you must have the following personal attributes:
always looking for ways to improve the TO, our processes and yourselfan ability to quickly develop expert knowledge of the content of your workstream and actively involve the related processes, units and disciplinesthe experience to help IOs formulate, implement and safeguard their ideas, always including a health component an ability to convince beyond content-driven arguments and, as such, set an example to the IOs who are the ambassadors for our programmean understanding of the playing field and politics around the TO, and know to adapt your style of influence to match the situationbe able to deliver upon the progress of the workstreams that you are responsible for while ensuring that you gain full buy-in from stakeholders.
To be considered for the position of Business Analyst at Royal IHC you must also have:

academic vocational education (master’s degree or equivalent) and at least two years of relevant work experience evidence of extracurricular work and/or travel to demonstrate perspective and entrepreneurial ambition high level of confidence and be comfortable moving around from the work floor to board level capacity to take a complex problem, break it down into manageable parts and explain it clearlyability to take on some of the groundwork, such as planning/preparing meetings and making slide decks basic understanding of numbers and analytical thinking, as well as being able to demonstrate structure to your workpreference for processes and projects, and not be hindered by the limitations of a certain team/unit/entity willingness to develop a broad business perspective, becoming an all-rounder instead of being an expert in a niche subject area strong communication skills, an understanding of the basics of persuasion and how to work effectively with othersthe ability to apply 80/20 to your work and your role, with the understanding that not everything will be perfectly clear but that we can prioritise together high level of adaptability and willingness to learn and ask for help when requiredexcellent communications skills in Dutch and English, both verbal and written.
